Gecko Elders proudly tell of their descent from Dragons, but fewer and fewer people believe these stories, including Endal.

However, after finding a mysterious giant Scale that gave him the power to resize the world around him, Endal decided to embark on an adventure in the search of its origin.

Embark in an adventure of Great Scales and help Endal find the 5 Power Scales!

Scale Tale has native control layouts for both Keyboard&Mouse and Game Controllers.

Beware! Some Nintendo Controllers may have Y and A buttons swapped.

Keyboard&Mouse:


Game Controllers:


  • Olympic Jump: Crouch and jump while moving.

Example: Crouch -> Move -> Jump

  • Lateral Jump: Move in any direction, then move to the oposite direction and jump. A sound clue will play and you'll see dirt particles comming out of the floor when you can jump laterally.

Example: Move Left -> Move Right -> Jump

  • Backflip: Crouch, then jump while standing still.

Example: Crouch -> Stand still -> Jump

  • Wall-Jump: Jump while touching a wall.

Example:  Jump -> Touch Wall -> Jump



  • There's a total of 5 hidden Power Scales
  • There are 3 hidden areas around the map, each one with a Power Scale
  • Villagers with blue clothes give clues about the Power Scales
  • Adjust your Screen Resolution and Texture Quality if the framerate is not great in your PC
  • Use the Olympic Jump to travel faster around the world
  • Remember to use your Lateral Jumps and Backflips
  • Look out for secret chests
  • Some platforms may seem unreachable, use your Scaling powers to get to them
  • Got stuck? You can go back to your saved Bonfire in the Pause Menu

Install instructions

  1. Download scale_tale_windows.zip
  2. Unzip its contents into the same folder
  3. Important: both Scale Tale.pck and libterrain.windows.release.x86_64.dll must be in the same folder as Scale Tale.exe
  4. Launch Scale Tale.exe and play!
